By Aadicura | 11 March 2026The Aadicura March 2026 Newsletter focuses on raising awareness about respiratory health through the theme “Myths vs Facts – Pulmonology: Breathe Better.” It highlights common misconceptions about lung diseases and clarifies that lung conditions are not limited to smokers, breathlessness should not be considered a normal part of ageing, and asthma can affect people of any age. The newsletter also explains that inhalers are safe, pollution can significantly impact lung health, and tuberculosis remains a global health concern.
The issue provides practical tips for maintaining healthy lungs, including avoiding smoking and second-hand smoke, monitoring air quality, staying physically active, taking recommended vaccinations, and seeking medical attention for persistent respiratory symptoms. It also emphasizes maintaining good indoor air quality to support overall respiratory well-being. The pulmonology team featured includes Dr. Hiren Parikh and Dr. Hardik Shah, highlighting Aadicura’s expertise in respiratory care.
The Success Story titled “Scarless Management of a Complex Kidney Stone with Advanced RIRS” presents the case of a 46-year-old patient suffering from a large staghorn kidney stone. Under the care of Dr. Saurabh Jambu, the patient underwent Retrograde Intrarenal Surgery (RIRS) using advanced flexible ureteroscopy and laser technology. The minimally invasive procedure enabled complete stone removal with no external scars, a shorter hospital stay, and faster recovery—demonstrating how modern urology techniques can effectively treat complex kidney stones.
Under “Aadicura in Action,” the newsletter highlights PAHAL Season 3, an inspiring health awareness initiative attended by more than 600 participants. The event featured speaker Revant Himatsingka (Food Pharmer), who discussed the importance of understanding food labels and making informed dietary choices. Chairman Dr. Sumit Kapadia also addressed the audience, emphasizing that better healthcare begins with awareness and everyday healthy decisions.
