Dr. Chirayu Chokshi is a super specialist as a Medical Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist & Endosonologist in Baroda since 2001.
Dr. Choksi holds a comprehensive experience of over 21 years in the field of Medical Gastroenterology. After finishing his post-graduation he joined Digestive Disease Centre at Bhatia Hospital, Mumbai for a fellowship in Medical Gastroenterology, Therapeutic Endoscopy, and Endosonology in 1999. After over two years of training, he returned to Baroda to start his services there.
Dr. Chirayu is one of the pioneers of Endosonography in Gujarat. In 2009 he was awarded MD FASGE by the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.
Dr. Chirayu is a visiting faculty at Pramukhswami Medical College and Sri Krishna Hospital Karamasad as well. He has done over 35000 endoscopies – diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to date, performed the highest number of therapeutic ERCP with complex interventions, and is a pioneer in Third Space Endoscopy in Baroda with the highest number of POEM-ESD in the city. He has also trained over 55 colleagues in basic and advanced endoscopies to date, and is a CME in gastroenterology under the aegis of ISGCON Gujarat 2012-2014.
